rest a bit for guitar, then play some random sliding, not really
 important which notes, its just a fill to transition to the next part.

this next line is liberally sprinkled with 5ths. i've not written
 them in because where he plays them changes, so just play 5ths
 whenever it feels / sounds right -- if you dont know what a 5th is,
 its a musical term meaning an interval of 7 half steps, or 5 scale degrees.
 if you dont know what THAT means, its not really important. to play a fifth,
 play one string and two frets up, so if you're playing 4 on the "a" string,
 the fifth of that is 6 on the "d" string. pretty simple,
 just pepper this next line with such notes

Lets call this the main verse riff. play it 4 times

lets call this the first chorus riff. play it twice. second time
 thru play the notes in parentheses  (yes, i know, they're 5ths
 again and i just could've said that, but these notes are much
 more imporatant than the earlier 5ths so i'd prefer to emphasize
 them by writing them in)

also, DONT play the notes with asterisks, just ride on the open a

a little bit of the Preverse riff, take out some parts to mesh
 with the guitar, i'm sure you can figure it out

first chorus riff twice, as before, then follow with second chorus riff,

play the above 4 times. on the third time, it switches to a different
 rhythm for a sec, insteaf of just being 8th-8th-8th-8th its 4th-8th-8th.
 if you dont know what this means, dont worry about it, just play it how
 you hear it after this the whole song kinda starts over play the first
 line again, then the next line again, twice, just as before.
next, play the preverse riff 4 times
then the first chorus riff, twice, just as before
then the main verse riff, like before. the song fades out here,
 the bass rests some times, and does a slide in there. cool.
