Comments: This has got to be one of the nastiest bass sounds ever committed
to tape. It sounds like Gene's action is under the frets and the amp spits
and gnarls. If anyone out there figures out how to get this sound, let me
know. (For the ultimate exparience of the bass sound put on a pair of head-
phones and boost the lows and highs slightly.) The line in itself is pretty
cool. It is somewhat surprising when the chromatic octaves appear under the
main riff but it works like a charm. Other than that it's all standard Gene.
