comments: This is a slightly more accurate version of Trey's and Ian's tab. I 
hope this proves slightly less confusing than the last two versions; I spent 
almost 3 hours fixing this up and listening to the song over and over and over 
again!

Best played on a fretless, five-string bass with an emphasis on clicky highs,
and a slow, stirring flange/chorus; if you have a pickup fade, roll it to the
neck position or somewhere near there. I hear a lot of bull about Ryknow using
some freaky alternate tuning, but almost all of his songs that I've heard to
date have can be played flawlessly in standard tuning as long as you have a five
string, and Severed is no exception.

Note: In the main verse parts (0h1p0-0-0-0 and etc.) you can either slap or just
finger hard enough to excite the treble characteristic of the sound. I prefer to 
slap, but whatever suits you is fine. Also, you may find yourself more
comfortable strumming certain chords in the song, such as in the pre-chorus, as
opposed to fingering normally. Again, it's really a matter of preference.

When you first hear the chorus it will sound odd but it's really
in simple 4/4. Always remember this and the fact that each note
is of the same value.. no triplets or anything.. and it will come
naturally. Beware some of those quick position changes that
Ryknow is infamous for.
