Taproot - I
Taproot usually drops their guitars a perfect fifth (ADGCF in this case)
but this song can be played in standard tuning, so dont worry about it
Phil is a pretty creative bassist and he throws in a lot of changes to his stuff
...thats the fun part, is figuring those out [aka im lazy]
Intro:
G:----4\-------2--
D:--0--------2----
A:2--------0------
E:----------------
Main Riff:
G:----4---4-----2---------
D:--0---0---0-----2-0-2---
A:2-----------0---------4-
E:------------------------
Chorus:
G:------------------------ ||--------------------------------
D:------------------------ ||--------------------------------
A:222222-(5~~)-000000-(4~~)||22222222222222220000000000000000
E:------------------------ ||--------------------------------
Im not totally sure if any of this is correct, but its really close if its not
During the bridge, when the bass comes back in, just start playing the intro riff and
lead into the main, then back to the chorus for the outro....pretty easy song to wing
Also-if anyone was having dilemmas with the guitar tab posted for this part, i dont blame you
The main riff i play is
E:-------------------------------------------------
B:-------------------------------------------------
G:-------4---------4--44------------4---------4--44
D:--0---------0-------00------2----------2-------22
A:2----2----2---2-----22----0----0-----0---0-----00
E:-------------------------------------------------
Its just about the same thing, except he was off on the first half of the riff, and this is easier
to play on the A string position
Hope this helps ;) enjoy
