Typical of Tom, this songs has deceptively simple riffs as well as strange fills and FX. He's 
using that damn Digitech Whammy Pedal again . . .  But here's the meat and potatoes of it. 
It's in "Drop D" tuning.


In the beginning while the drums play it sounds like he's picking all up and down different 
strings while palm muting.

When the bass kicks in:
Slide from the first to second chord slowly, I think he turns the volume knob as well.
